Meet Cooper

Cuddles with Cooper:

Cooper is a constant presence during my sessions, offering comfort and support to clients. His natural ability to sense and respond to their needs creates a calming environment. Cooper is also in training to become a Certified Therapy Dog, continuing to grow in his role of helping others.

Cooper's Care Fund

Cooper is the heart of Centered Mind and our beloved therapy dog with a nose for kindness and a tail that wags for change!

Cooper’s Care Fund was created in his honor to support low-income families directly connected to Centered Mind. Your donation helps families struggling to make rent, buy food, afford essential school supplies, or gain access to transportation—like an e-bike—to get to work. With your help (and a few happy barks from Cooper), we can make a real difference, one paw at a time.

It's in the science..

Scientific studies have shown a positive effect from the activity of interacting with a pet, including decreased blood pressure and reduced levels of cortisol. Animal therapy can reduce anxiety and assist with depression, motivation and loneliness.

Work Stress..

Numerous studies have shown that when people take just a few moments to pet an animal, their stress is reduced. Research also shows that animals in the workplace often lead to more productive coworker interaction, increased trust levels between colleagues, and more effective collaboration.

Mental Health..

With 1 in 6 people experiencing mental health problems in the workplace and 12 billion working days lost every year due to mental health, it’s clear there needs to be more awareness and early intervention surrounding employees and their mental health.

Alternative..

Cooper is a great alternative for companies that want to recognize the benefits of pets in the workplace but are not yet ready to allow employees to bring their own pets to work.
